ive always wanted to watch STOMP live but never got to coz i never had the chance so now i get to go
and that is very very awesome. woohoo.
i was watching michael buble's concert dvd thing and i think he's amazing. his voice is so good live unlike most singers now who sound nothing like their cds. i think for someone to be able to be a singer, he/she must be able to sing live and singers who cant sing live should be called singers and should only be called entertainers.
if i was to be a singer i would actually choose jazz as a genre. yes i like rnb but jazz is so fun coz you get to have a live band backing you up. after watching his show, i felt this longing to perform again. its been ages since ive performed for anything. i miss it becuse i use to do it all the time.
i rememembered singing one of the hardest songs of all for the school's play West Side Story which is Maria. it was so hard coz the genre was not my genre at all because it was kinda opera-esque and i couldnt do rnb at all and it felt weird but ppl said they liked it so i guess i did alright. and i tried to do rock songs for this other concert thing and that was fun but that will be the last time i try rock. i like rock but performing it is not my thing.
ive never performed jazz before and i want to. the feeling of having a band back you up is amazing i think. buble has inspired me. muaha.
oh shaira told me ne-yo was here before. dammit.
oh and jason mraz is coming.
